    Overview

    Poland offers two main routes:
    • Schengen Visa (Type C) — short stays up to 90 days in any 180 (tourism, family, short business).
    • National Visa (Type D) and Residence Permit — stays over 90 days for study, work, or family. Long-stay applicants usually enter on a D visa and then apply in Poland for a temporary residence card (karta pobytu).
