    Overview

    Hungary offers two main routes.
    – Schengen Visa Type C for short stays up to 90 days in any 180 for tourism, family visits, or short business.
    – Long-stay entry and residence for study, work, or family. Most applicants receive a National Visa Type D for entry and then collect a residence permit card in Hungary after completing local formalities.
