    Overview

    Lithuania offers two main routes:
    • Schengen Visa Type C — short stays up to 90 days in any 180 for tourism, family visits, or short business.
    • Long-stay entry and residence — National Visa Type D and, for stays beyond entry, a temporary residence permit for study, work, or family. After arrival on a long-stay route you complete local registration and collect your residence card.
